How do I book? What deposit do you require?
In order to secure your date, a non-refundable deposit of £200 is required. The remaining balance will be payable 30 days before your wedding.
If you’d like to enquire about our availability for the date of your wedding, please complete our contact form.
Please note that the contact form requires you to indicate which of our packages you are interested in. Package details and prices can found on our prices page.
What are your Terms & Conditions?
To see our standard Terms & Conditions, please click here. If you decide to book, a copy of these will be included with your booking confirmation.
What areas do you cover?
We are based on the North Wales border, just outside Chester. We’re able to cover North Wales and local areas of the North West with ease, but are willing to travel further. Please note that travel outside our area may incur an additional fee to cover travel time and costs.
If you are unsure whether or not your wedding is taking place outside our area, please complete the contact form and we will let you know if there will be an additional fee.
Is there a limit to the number of bookings you can take?
Yes. We are only able to accept one booking per date, and we will only reserve your date when a full deposit has been received.
We also limit the number of bookings we accept to ensure that the appropriate level of effort can be dedicated to every film we produce.
How long do your films last?
The length of the film you will receive varies according to the package you choose. Our package options and prices can be found on our prices page.
We produce short, contemporary films that you will want to want to watch over and over again. Wedding videos have a reputation for being long and drawn out. Our modern approach does away with this stereotype, and the film you receive will be a joy for you to share with family and friends.
What time will you start coverage on the day?
The time we arrive will vary according to the timings of your day. We will arrive early enough to capture the final preparations of the bride and to capture some shots of the groom pre-ceremony.
What time will you stop filming on the day?
We will stop filming just after the first dance or at 9pm (whichever comes first).
When will our photos or film be ready?
We will try to deliver your package as soon as possible. Our style of work requires a lot of editing. We take the time to ensure that the best photos and footage are used to capture your story, and colour grade every shot we use.
What type of equipment do you use?
The equipment we use includes high quality Digital SLR cameras, discreet video cameras and audio recording equipment, along with multiple tripods and specialist equipment. We also use the latest editing software packages.
Won’t your equipment get in the way?
The equipment we use is as discreet as possible, without compromising on quality. We believe that discretion is key to capturing natural and relaxed shots and footage, and are often complimented on how little we are noticed throughout the day.
Who chooses the music that will be used in our video?
We will work with you to produce a list of tracks that will suit your film, and can give as much or as little guidance as you require. It is generally beneficial for us to have multiple soundtrack options when editing your film, as some tracks will suit the pace of the footage better than others.
This isn’t something for you to worry about. We’ll discuss it with you in the run up to your wedding.
Please note that we will also obtain the necessary LM and PPL licenses to comply with copyright laws.
Are you able to cover the preparations of the groom?
This depends on the logistics of your day. We generally focus more on bridal preparations, mainly because there are traditionally more details to capture.
If the groom is getting ready at the same location as the bride, we are generally able to get some footage of the groom’s preparations as well. If the groom is getting ready somewhere else, we will depart for the church, or ceremony location, a little earlier than the bride, so that we can capture some pre-ceremony footage of the groom followed by the arrival of the bridal party.
Will we meet you before our wedding day?
Yes. All of our packages include a pre-wedding assessment meeting. We will contact you in the run up to your wedding and make arrangements to meet either virtually or in person about a month before your big day.
During the meeting, we will discuss the timings and details of your day and your preferences for the photos or film. We’ll also discuss the soundtrack options for your film.
What if my wedding venue has restrictions on photography or filming?
This is rare, but it is the couples’ responsibility to find out if any such restrictions are in place. If you find that there are, please let us know as soon as possible so we can discuss the options.
If your ceremony is taking place in a church, please note that some churches charge a small additional fee if a videographer is going to be filming during the ceremony. This isn’t always the case, but it’s something we like to point out as we don’t cover for this in our prices.
My venue stipulates that my suppliers must have insurance. Are you covered?
Yes, we have Public Liability Insurance in place.
Do we have to supply food for you?
It is not compulsory for you to provide us with food on your wedding day.
However, wedding days can be very demanding and it is greatly appreciated when couples do arrange for the venue to provide us with food. Most venues will offer reduced rate meals which are usually provided during your wedding breakfast. This means that we don’t have to leave the premises, so will be on hand all day.
